Robert completed his BBA in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Taxation graduating from Baylor University in 1995.  After graduation, he joined a vibrant tax department for a publicly-traded energy company in Houston Texas where he worked in a variety of corporate support and commercial roles until leaving in 2001 as a commercial manager in the Energy Services group.

Subsequently, Robert worked for large publicly traded consulting firms such as Navigant Consulting and Huron Consulting Group. He has worked with a variety of smaller boutique consulting firms and through his own accounting/consulting firm providing M&A expertise, restructuring/bankruptcy expertise and litigation support services.  Robert consulted in a wide variety of industries which include airlines, electricity generation, oil and gas, manufactured foods, food distribution and healthcare.

Robert earned his CPA certification in February 2000 and started Robert Sammon, PC in July of 2010.  Robert Sammon, PC has grown to represent many small and mid-sized businesses and a growing individual client base.
